i love tacos!

Mr. MVF + I love these tacos because they are ready in under 30 minutes, they have just enough spice, and we can customize them every time to change things up.  They are perfect in crispy or soft taco shells, or layered into lettuce leaves for lettuce wraps. Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos | My Vegetarian Family #buffalocauliflowertacos #airfryerbuffalocauliflowertacos #veganglutenfree #spicycauliflower My recipe for Buffalo Cauliflower is very different than the typical recipes out there.  I choose to make my recipes as healthy as possible without sacrificing taste or texture.  I tested multiple methods for cooking the cauliflower and I found that I could get the cauliflower perfectly spicy + crispy without doing a whole lot to it.

Mine are made with NO flour, NO oil, NO dairy, NO eggs but yet still crunchy + spicy + so delicious! Isn’t it fabulous? No messy breading of your cauliflower with flour, cornstarch, eggs, or milk! You will LOVE how easy these are and NO FUSS! How To Make Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees
  2. Cut your cauliflower into bite size pieces
  3. Place your cauliflower in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden brown
  4. Remove cauliflower from air fryer, place in a large bowl. Then add 1/4 cup buffalo sauce to the same bowl, gently stir your cauliflower until each one is coated in buffalo sauce. Next, sprinkle with 1/4 cup nutritional yeast and 1/4 tsp salt and stir gently until cauliflower are fully coated in the mixture (can add additional buffalo sauce if needed).
  5. Place your buffalo cauliflower back into the air fryer basket, cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. You won’t be able to shake the basket to stir them up because they will be too wet still, so give them a good stir with a spoon to make sure they are not sticking to the basket or each other. Cook an additional 5 minutes and check them, they are done when they are slightly browned like mine in the photo. Cook 5 more minutes if they need. Mine took a total of 20 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove your buffalo cauliflower from the air fryer basket, transfer to a plate or bowl, set aside.
  7. While your cauliflower cooks, prepare your dressing and shred your lettuce/cabbage, chop the avocado.
  8. Heat taco shells according to package directions.
  9. Layer lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, avocado in the taco shells, drizzle dressing on top. Do a happy dance.  Eat!
