What will you need to make Healthy Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower?
- 1 head of fresh cauliflower
- Buffalo sauce: 1/4 cup
- Nutritional Yeast: 1/4 cup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- something to dip them in π
- an Air Fryer
Instructions:
First Step: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees
Second Step: Cut your cauliflower into bite size pieces
Third Step: Place your cauliflower in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden brown
Fourth Step: Remove cauliflower from air fryer, place in a large bowl. Then add 1/4 cup buffalo sauce to the same bowl, gently stir your cauliflower until each one is coated in buffalo sauce. Next, sprinkle with 1/4 cup nutritional yeast and 1/4 tsp salt and stir gently until cauliflower are fully coated in the mixture (can add additional buffalo sauce to taste).
Fifth Step: Place your buffalo cauliflower back into the air fryer basket, cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. You won’t be able to shake the basket to stir them up because they will be too wet still, so give them a good stir with a spoon to make sure they are not sticking to the basket or each other. Cook an additional 5 minutes and check them, they are done when they are slightly browned like mine in the photo. Cook 5 more minutes if they need. Mine took a total of 20 minutes.
Last Step: Carefully remove your buffalo cauliflower from the air fryer basket, transfer to a plate or bowl and enjoy! Click here for the recipe for vegan ranch for dipping π
