Tara’s Tips for Perfect Healthy Air Cauliflower
- use fresh cauliflower, not frozen!
- high heat oil works best … I used Avocado Oil Spray for this one.
- bring on the heat! if you like it hot sprinkle on the red pepper flakes before and after cooking.
- don’t crowd your cauliflower! this will depend on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do a double batch.
- adjust your timing, every air fryer and every batch of cauliflower are different, increase cook time if needed.
- try colorful cauliflower like I did π pretty + full of nutrients!

Healthy Air Fryer Cauliflower
HEALTHY Airy Fryer Cauliflower! Just a few simple ingredients + ready in 10 minutes. Crispy + vegan + gluten free + no fuss! Perfect side dish for busy nights or as a quick + healthy snack! YUM!
Ingredients
- 4 cups cauliflower florets (washed + dried well)
- avocado or olive oil spray (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder or granules
- 1 tsp onion powder or granules
- salt + pepper to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Following your air fryerβs manufacturerβs instructions, preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Step 2 Spread cauliflower out on a large cutting board or sheet pan.
- Step 3 If you use oil, lightly spray cauliflower with avocado or olive oil spray. Sprinkle evenly with onion + garlic powder + salt/pepper.
- Step 4 Place cauliflower in air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Step 5 After 10 minutes, shake the basket.
- Step 6 Continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Step 7 After 15 minutes of cook time, check your florets. They are done when they are light golden brown. If you donβt see this color change, cook for an additional 2-5 minutes. Be careful not to overcook! They will burn!
- Step 8 Carefully remove florets from air fryer, serve or eat immediately while crispy! Enjoy!
