Apples happen to be one of my favorite foods on the planet! Β In my opinion, apples are simply wonderful + I could eat them any meal of the day. How about with breakfast? Yes, please! If you are looking for something just sweet enough to enjoy as a simple + healthy treat or a topping for waffles or pancakes or oatmeal, these Easy Vegan Pan-Fried Apples are just what you need!

What is so great about apples?

  • low in calories
  • loaded with antioxidants (help fight cancer) and phytonutrients (fight heart disease)
  • help lower cholesterol with soluble fiber
  • good source of iron
  • when you chew on them they help clean your teeth and gums reducing your risk of gum disease and improving whiteness! yeah! bonus!

These easy vegan pan fried apples are ready in minutes and require only four simple ingredients you probably have in your kitchen already! They are vegan and gluten free and loved by everyone. Easy Vegan Pan Fried Apples

Easy vegan, gluten free pan fried apples perfect addition to a breakfast, lunch, dessert or to enjoy on their own. Ready in under 10 minutes and made with just 4 simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  • 2 apples (chopped or sliced to desired size)
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter (regular butter if not vegan)
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar (can sub coconut palm sugar)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
  • Step 1 Place cut apples in a medium size bowl, add cinnamon and sugar, toss until apples are fully coated.
  • Step 2 Heat butter in a pan on medium-high heat until melted, once melted add apples and cook until boiling. Once boiling, stir, cover, and cook for 5 minutes or until desired tenderness, stirring frequently.
  • Step 3 Use as a topping for waffles, pancakes, or oatmeal.
