This is BY FAR the easiest + best way to cook Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi. Forget what it says on the package! Don’t pan fry them if you want crispy gnocchi. Super easy + quick + you can toss them in any sauce you love when they are done?
Tara’s Tips for Perfect Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower Gnocchi
Step One: Thaw gnocchi. Either by leaving the bag out at room temperature for a few hours or by placing your gnocchi on a microwaveable plate (make sure they aren’t touching each other). Microwave for one minute, flip them all over, microwave one more minute.
Step Two: Preheat your Air Fryer to 390. Once preheated, place thawed gnocchi in the frying basket. Optional but yummy: give the gnocchi a light spray or drizzle of olive oil. Set a timer for 10 minutes. When your timer goes off, shake the basket or give the gnocchi a good stir to make sure they are not stuck together and that all sides get good air frying. Set timer for another 10 minutes.
Step Three: After 20 minutes of air frying, carefully transfer your crispy air fryer cauliflower gnocchi from the basket to a bowl or plate. Top with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
Options for Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower Gnocchi Sauce:
I used two tablespoons of store-bought dairy free pesto as pictured here. This was AMAZING (also added a giant spoon of red pepper flakes and a pinch of Himalayan pink sea salt, yum!). You can also use my 3-Ingredient Tomato Sauce or Non-Dairy Cheese Sauce. If you prefer to dip, the absolute perfect dip for any food is my Vegan Chipotle Mayo recipe or Avocado Dressing. Enjoy!
