Tara’s Tips for Perfect Vegan Pesto Chick’n Pizza
- Crust
- Make your own or use your favorite store-bought crust. Eggless Cauliflower Pizza Crust works and so does Whole Wheat Pizza. If you use a homemade curst, par-bake the crust in the oven until slightly golden brown before you put the toppings on so your crust does not get soggy.
- Toppings
- Options include jalapenos, mushrooms, olives, fresh spinach leaves, or crushed red pepper.
- Pesto
- To keep this pizza dairy-free, be sure to look for dairy-free pesto or make your own!
- Pizza Sauce
- I use a simple marinara on my pizza. With all the toppings, you don’t need anything fancy. I use Three Ingredient Tomato Sauce or Meatless Marinara Sauce.

Vegan Pesto Chick'n Pizza
Pizza night of my dreams! This Vegan Pesto Chick'n Pizza is ready in minutes + is so super yummy it will quickly become your favorite too!
Ingredients
- 1 pizza crust (store-bought or homemade, see recipe body for homemade options)
- 1/2 cup dairy-free pesto
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup vegan chick'n cut into small cubes
- 3 cups vegan cheese
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- Step 2 Place diced chick’n in a small bowl with pesto, gently stir until each piece is coated with the pesto.
- Step 3 Spread the marinara sauce on the crust, sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top and then pesto chick’n.
- Step 4 Place crust on pizza pan, bake in a 450-degree oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Remove from oven, top with toppings of your choosing.
- Step 5 NOTE – if you are using homemade crust, par-bake in 450-degree oven until lightly golden brown before applying chick’n and cheese.

Hi Tracey! I have made this pizza using gardein chick’n strips and cut them up into little cubes. Quorn works really well too but if you are vegan check the packages because not all of their products are vegan. They both work!
