Tara’s Tips for Perfect Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing:
- Make sure your tahini only has one ingredient: sesame seeds! You don’t need anything else in there!!!! Making an oil-free salad dressing with ingredients with added oil does not make sense …. check your labels!
- Add extra water at the end until you reach desired consistency.Β Every jar of tahini is slightly different and it will also depend on the temperature of your bottle when you mix the ingredients.Β Add the water 1 tbsp at a time. Can take an extra 1/2 cup to get it right, but don’t add too much or it will be too thin.
- Keep leftovers in your refrigerator for up to 7 days (if you have any π)
- If you are using for meal prep, keep the dressing separate from your salad or veggies until ready to eat!

Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing
This Lemon Tahini Dressing is super easy to make! The perfect oil-free dressing ready in 5 minutes and is made without cashews! Vegan + Gluten Free + perfect for meal prep. Drizzle this awesomeness in your wrap, on your salad, or even dunk your veggies in it!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 -1 cup water
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1/4 cup tahini (make sure your tahini has only one ingredient on the label: sesame seeds!)
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
- 1 tsp onion powder or granules
Directions
- Step 1 Combine all ingredients in a glass jar, cover, and shake until well combined.
- Step 2 Add additional water 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Step 3 Store in glass jar until ready to eat your salad or up to 7 days.
