- Why nutritional yeast? helps with the cheesy flavor!

- 16-ounce package of organic silken tofu
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions
- Step 1 First, combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Next, pulse 10 times or until a chunky ricotta-like consistency is achieved. Do not over process or blend. This recipe was perfect for the lasagna I made! I couldn’t get nutritional yeast but it was still great! the flavor was nice and light and not trying to be too cheesy I’m glad you mentioned adding the tofu water with it and not processing it too much., the texture was exactly what my homemade Dairy-free Lasagna needed to tie everything together.
