You start with any vegan or dairy milk, add in chia seeds + cacao powder + let it sit for a few minutes or overnight and there you go … healthy with a hint of sweet and definitely chocolatey satisfying.

Chia Seeds + Cacao Powder + Almond Milk
Chia seeds are tiny little seeds of wonderfulness. Packed with fiber and omega-3 these little guys should be a staple for vegetarians and vegans. Tara’s Tips for Perfect Chocolate Chia Pudding
Toss the ingredients in a jar, shake it up, wait 15 minutes or pop it in your refrigerator overnight. When you are ready, open your jar, grab a spoon, and don’t forget your favorite toppings! The toppings take it from chocolate chia pudding to chocolate chia awesome. Add berries, nut butters, vanilla, cinnamon, bananas or whatever!!! See … you can start your day out with a vegan, gluten free, healthy, protein and vitamin packed breakfast that is still sweet + satisfying.

Chocolate Chia Pudding
Just sweet enough to satisfy a chocolate craving but still healthy enough for a great breakfast for the family.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened plain pant-based milk
- 2 tbsp cacao powder or vegan chocolate protein powder
- optional: 2 tbsp sweetener of choice and nut butter for topping
Directions
- Step 1 Combine chia seeds, cacoa powder or chocolate protein powder, and milk of choice in a jar, shake well to combine, cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes or until desired pudding consistency achieved.
- Step 2 Add toppings as desired. Eat or serve immediately or store in a glass container with cover for up to 3 days.
