Need an easy dinner idea that you don’t have to turn on the oven to make? These Easy Air Fryer Nachos are perfect for a dinner, lunch, snack! Start with chips, then layer up all of your favorites … beans, salsa, lettuce, avocado and more!
Tara’s Tips for Easy Air Fryer Nachos:
- One: preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F
- Two: choose your favorite chips
- Three: layer chips into pan (I use a mini spring cake pan – it fits perfectly into the basket of my air fryer)
- Four: add black or refried beans (try one of these: Instant Pot Vegetarian Refried Beans or The Easiest Instant Pot Black Beans)
- Five: optional to add meatless ground crumbles or diced vegan chik’n (I like to use cut up Beyond Meat Tenders)
- Five: sprinkle on dairy or vegan cheese shreds (I use Daiya Vegan Mexican Shreds)
- Six: air fry for 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly
- Seven: carefully remove from air fryer
- Eight: layer on diced avocado, salsa, lettuce shreds, hot sauce, olives, jalapeños!

Easy Air Fryer Nachos
Need an easy dinner idea that you don't have to turn on the oven to make? These Easy Air Fryer Nachos are perfect for dinner, lunch, snack!
Ingredients
- 20 tortilla chips
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (dairy or vegan, I use Violife vegan cheddar shreds)
- 2 tbsp black beans and refried beans (can use one or both types of beans)
- 1/4 cup beefless ground crumbles or one diced Beyond Meat Chicken tender
- For the toppings after air frying: shredded lettuce, diced avocado, salsa, jalapeños, olives to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F.
- Step 2 Layer chips into small spring pan that fits inside air fryer basket.
- Step 3 Sprinkle chips with dairy or vegan cheese.
- Step 4 Spoon on refried or black beans or both.
- Step 5 Add on beefless crumbles or cut up cooked vegan chicken tenders.
- Step 6 Carefully place pan in air fryer basket, air fry for 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
- Step 7 Remove from air fryer, unclip spring pan border, apply shredded lettuce, chopped avocado or guacamole, salsa, hot sauce, jalapeños, olives to taste!
- Step 8 Enjoy!
