Everyone and everything has their ‘best feature’.  I have found Brussel Sprout’s best feature: the thin leaves that you can easily peel off, crisp, and pass off as chips and a vegetable at the same time.  You’re welcome.

As with all of my recipes, follow my advice and steps just as they appear and you have a fool-proof, quick side dish, baked healthy snack, or crowd-pleasing appetizer!

  • 1 pound Brussel Sprouts
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt to taste

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Wash brussel sprouts and dry well
  3. Cut the stemoff and remove as many leaves as you can off of each brussel sprout
  4. Place leaves in a large bowl, add oilve oil and stir leaves until each one is generously coated with the oil and then add salt
  5. Arrange leaves in a single layer on baking sheet, they must not be layered on top of one another in order to roast perfectly, like mine are here in the picture
  6. Roast in oven for 7 minutes then check coloring, they are done when they have dark brown crispy edges like mine here in the picture. You may need to rotate your pan in your oven to ensure even browning

  7. Remove from oven and serve or eat! Enjoy!!
