Vegan Vanilla Protein Smoothie

Vegan Vanilla Protein Smoothie:

Banana + Cinnamon + Vanilla + Almond Milk + Protein = Smoothy-licous

Some mornings you just don’t have the time (or the energy) to put together a nourishing breakfast before you head out the door.  Smoothies are the answer to those mornings.  Packed with vegan protein, this smoothie is a great go-to for those busy mornings, midday hunger, post-workout, or to crush cravings.

Super easy! Layer all the ingredients in the blender and blend! Of course, I use my Vitamix and set it to blend making it quick and effortless.

Don’t have almond milk? Use Organic Soy Milk or Coconut Milk or if you aren’t vegan, use organic low-fat milk.  Add lots of ice to make it thicker and more vanilla or cinnamon to your liking.  Need more protein? Toss in a tablespoon of nut butter. You can’t go wrong with this recipe.  It’s a keeper … pin it, print it, use it.

  • 1/2 Banana fresh or frozen
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon to taste
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk unsweetened plain works too
  • 1 scoop vegan plain or vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup ice
Prep Time 5 minutes

Instructions
  1. Layer all ingredients in the order listed in blender (set to high) or Vitamix (set to smoothie). When blended, check desired consistency. Add more ice to make thicker or water in 1/4 cup increments to thin out. Pour in a glass, garnish with extra cinnamon or banana slices and a cute straw and enjoy!
