Mango Yogurt Smoothie (Indian Mango Lassi) Healthy Vegetarian Easy Snack Gluten Free

This is the perfect cold drink that you can customize and is loaded with vitamins from the mango and protein from the yogurt. A Lassi is a sweet Indian drink made with a yogurt base, can be customized to be savory or sweet, and is always found on the menu at Indian Restaurants but is so easy to make at home! This is an absolute favorite in the My Vegetarian Family Household where we serve this to guests at dinner parties and friends that stop by.

Make with  homemade yogurt or store bought works too!  Made too much? Freeze the leftovers in popsicle molds for a surprise frozen treat to enjoy another day!

Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add sugar for added sweetness, add more water to thin out if you desire a thinner consistency drink, add more ice for a thicker smoothie. Leftovers can be placed in popsicle molds and enjoyed later as a frozen treat. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Note* Any plain yogurt will make this recipe absolutely delicious.  Also can substitute fresh chopped or frozen mango cubes instead of pulp but consider adding sugar for sweetness.  Optional add-ins include cinnamon, cardamon, pineapple or any other fruits you enjoy.
